Ashley West is an Emerging Technologies Librarian at the University of Oklahoma. In this role, she focuses on 360 video development, emerging technologies instruction & community outreach. Ashley also provides expertise to faculty, staff & students within the OU campus community to support research, innovation & creative approaches to academic initiatives. She is also the project lead for the premier flexible experimentation & innovation space within OU Libraries: Innovation @ the Edge. Prior to this, Ashley held multiple positions with Apple Inc. & the Information Technology department at the University of Oklahoma. Ashley is passionate about connecting people with technology & demystifying what it can do to improve all aspects of everyday life. She also serves as the OKC Programming Chair for the the local non-profit, Oklahoma Women in Technology and was a 2016 award recipient for the '30 Under 30' program which recognizes young individuals making an impact in their community.
