All US Army Cadets must attend and pass a crucible experience known as "Advanced Camp" during the summer between their Junior and Senior years of college. "Call for indirect fire" is a "must pass" task for all Cadets at Cadet Summer Training Advanced Camp. In order to save time and money while maximizing the number of training repetitions each cadet received on this task, we utilize a program called the "Observed Fire Trainer" which allows cadets to perform the task in a classroom environment.
